Hubpages is a great place to start
Hubpages is a great network of articles published on the net.
Since Hubpages and places similar use a canonical link, you can post duplicate content without being punished by the search engines.
After all, why would duplicate content be such a bad thing if you have it at two different locations?
Maybe people won’t see it on your webpage but they see it on Hubpages. Great, then they could get benefit from encountering it elsewhere. Why should the search engine punish you for that? Then people can’t benefit simply because your blog or webpage is new and doesn’t attract traffic yet, you still wrote a wonderful post.
Doesn’t google want people to see your wonderful post so they can increase the quality of life for people looking hard for interesting content? Makes sense to me, god bless Google for that.
So if you wrote a particularly good post, with interesting content, go over to Hubpages, make an account and get publishing. Make sure to use your profile to drop a link and drop a link in your post back to your homepage to get traffic.
Also, Hubpages supports affiliate links and has a cool feature where you can use Amazon affiliate links easily.
Medium is a great source too!
Another great site to get your voice heard and post duplicate content is the website medium. It is owned by one of the Twitter owners that decided he wanted people that wanted to tweet long tweets to have a place to say something to the world. So he created medium.
This website is like HubPages. You create a profile, upload a profile pic, write a short snippet of text about yourself, and an “about me” section which you can enrich with photos, and then get to writing.
Like Twitter, you develop a following by reciprocating comments on other people’s articles and hope for the best.
You try to stay within your niche to attract like-minded people to your post so you can they can both benefit from your niche-related content creations. Don’t forget to link your home page to your articles so you can attract traffic from followers and others on medium.
Medium also has a partner network (I’m not a partner yet, but interested). Once you get an article and 100 followers you can get paid for the amount of time people spend reading your articles. Cool, isn’t it? Built-in monetization platform.
What’s also cool about medium is they have free resources for writers and other active skills for you to develop on all for free.
So dig in and look around. Who doesn’t want to learn how to write more catchy headlines? Who doesn’t want to learn how to write engaging social media content?
That’s just the tip of the iceberg. That’s what I love about companies like medium and yoastSEO, free education in the hopes that you become a paying interest.
The internet is a great place to get an education about itself as a whole all for free. With this article, you’re learning how to get traffic to your website for free as well. Wonderful isn’t it? It’s just that it can be hard to get the word out. So if you like my content, spread the word for me would ya? Check me out on social media too (Beast Websites).
